I got 4 points because I dedicated some random minipets in the past that I couldn't get rid of anyway. Maybe it's time to get srs about this.

I have a question for Anet, Will we be able to use T-stones on these items or will they be unmodable like the bonus weapons in GW1?

Edit: I found the answer on GW2Guru. They have way more feedback over there.

Well at least now I can pretend I passed on my Fellblade and Stygian Reaver as a legacy weapon. +1 for immersion

I hope ANet adds more rewards passed 30 points. I am a very reward driven player and I need motivation to get 50 points for something more than being able to display a title. Otherwise, GJ Anet. I can tell some real thought and effort was put into this process.

Sweet! Love the fact that the armor goes up to 6. I'm at 10 already and am just setting my goal to 11 so I can get the Aegis. Yep. The reward system was even better than I thought. Thanks Anet, and I can't wait until I get the game and try on that armor.

Apart from allowing you to get max stats weapons early, aren't all those rewards purely cosmetic in nature, like titles?

An important difference is that cosmetic items have the potential to look good.

The only criticisms I have about the HoM rewards system are:

50 mini-pets needed to max the devotion monument? Seems a bit much to me. 30 or 40 would be much more reasonable IMHO

Needing armor for every hero? The Fellowship monument is the only one that needs to have everything added to it to max out the points. Again, it seems like a bit much to me. (Only need 15 of 33 weapons to max that one)

Oh well, this will give me something to do Which way to the Shadow Nexus?

Well this would explain why mat prices are all messed up atm, lol.

Seems I'm 24/50, getting to 30 seems like an achievable goal at this stage. Good stuff.

Did anyone else look beyond stroking their egos and see the first 6 rewards listed?

Boots, Leggings, Braces, Chest, Shoulders, Helmet.

5->6

25/50

Should be able to get to 30 and then I’ll probably stop there. Impressed with the system, 30 will guarantee all the items and for the casual players it’s very achievable.

Hmm I was looking at other people's HOM's and noticed that they have Legendary Skill Hunter even though they have no other skill hunter titles. I thought the legendary one was a bonus if you had the other three.

Hero armor costs lets say 5k each (factoring in you dont need to buy it for mox and animal companion etc). This means it will cost 150k to max it.

One tormented weapon costs 150k also. Kind of unfair to ask players to get all tormented weapons then isnt it?

They need to obtain all 3 skillhunter titles to get it, but maybe they only put legendary skillhunter in the hall of monuments. (meaning they have the other 3, but didnt HoM them yet)

20/50. Damn. Good to know GWAMM isn't related though, so I can spend my 1000k or so in the bank on obsidian armor and a torm weapon.
The FAQ says you will be able to wear your GWAMM title in GW2, unrelated to the HoM

Quote:
Q: Do players who obtained the title God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals in Guild Wars get anything special in Guild Wars 2?

A: Yes, the maximum rank of the God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals title will be paid forward into Guild Wars 2. If you have earned this title on any of your Guild Wars characters, you will be able to have any of your Guild Wars 2 characters wear the title as well. GWAMM is completely separate from the rewards that you can see via the Hall of Monuments Reward Calculator.

Buying them? I'm broke! I spent all my money on tormented weapons! I've gotta go out and farm them!

(hehe - it'll be fun. Just did the Shadow Nexus challenge for the 1st time ever. 'Twas a blast & I got an armor thingie!)

Kudos to Fellblades and Stygian Reavers, but I'd like to see a Bo Staff the most. <3

/boo at no rewards for:

-more than 15 or full tormented, destroyer and oppressor's sets
-minis over 50 (60,70,80,90,100)
-45 and 50 titles
-more than 7 or all armors

and for:
-no item rewards for points between 30 and 50

At this points everyone can achieve 50/50 just by regular gameplay. No rewards for more dedicated gamers sounds like populism to me, sry.

PS.and "yes", I feel personally harmed by dedicating high end minis :P

QQ: What a pointless waste of gold for those dedicating Kanaxais, Pandas and so on...
